IPL 2017 teams’ full itinerary is yet to be announced, but as per the schedule set by IPL committee, the Indian Premier League 2017 would be commencing from April 5 and will continue till 21^st of May 2017. Both the matches will be hosted in Hyderabad, as per the IPL norms, with the defending champion getting the privilege of hosting the opening and final match of the tournament. 

As far as the IPL 2017 team list is concerned, there are total 8 teams in this tournament. Each of the IPL teams of 2017 have also retained and released the players list.

Just like the last year, Vivo Electronics will sponsor the season 10 of this lucrative league. The IPL 2017 team list will not feature two of the former IPL champions, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals as both the teams are still serving their banned handed by the Supreme Court-appointed RM Lodha panel.

The window for the franchises to retain players for IPL teams 2017 closed on December 15, 2016. As many as 140 cricketers including 44 foreign cricketers have been retained by the IPL teams of 2017.
